SAS Technical Operations is looking for a Team Leader
SAS Technical Operations, CAMO is a team of 100 people accountable for the continuing airworthiness of the SAS fleet. We perform a wide variety of tasks including negotiating and managing supplier contracts, engineering, planning and controlling aircraft maintenance. SAS Maintenance Operation Control (MOC) is a key function within CAMO and part of Operational Control Center (OCC). The purpose and main responsibilities of SAS Maintenance Operation Control (MOC) is always to monitor and ensure the operational airworthiness of our Aircraft fleet on a shift roster covering 24/7/365. Our role is, together with other stakeholders, to ensure technical reliability, efficiency and control and by that minimizing aircraft unscheduled down time, impacting flight operation. We are now looking for a Team Leader for Technical Operational Engineering
Challenges you will work on
As our Team Leader for Technical[RT(U1] Operational Engineering you will manage a team within the Maintenance Operation Control Team. The position is a combined specialist and leader role with direct responsibility of staff, however with an explicit responsibility for work management and administrative management duties.This function is part of CAMO and the Maintenance Operation Control team to serve as an CAMO operational engineering support mainly to maintenance organizations (P-145), but also act for the best interest of Aircraft operations as part of OCC.
As a Team Leader at SAS you will
Responsible for delivery and quality within field of expertise (Short term maintenance planning).
Develop and optimize procedures
Lead, delegate and prioritize work/workload.
Support in annual assessment as well as ongoing competence development of team members.
Support with follow up on KPI targets, manual revisions and inhouse procedure development.
Represent in communication between different companies & departments both internal and external of SAS CAMO.
Support planning of training and other time off planning within the team.
Direct reports of team members including personnel responsibility and salary revision process owner.

To be successful, we believe you should have
Educated/Experience in Maintenance operational planning or other relevant experience/background within its field of work and related responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the area of expertise.
Previous Senior/Team leader (management) experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Good knowledge within parts of the Company’s MMIS/IT tools.
Excellent written and communication ability in English.
Good knowledge of Part M and Part-145 regulations.


The position requires an ability to take own initiatives, work thoroughly and independent as well as lead and delegate tasks within the team. Furthermore, significant knowledge within the field of expertise is required to be able to analyze and identify solutions and to maintain the company’s high requirement on safety, operational- and economical excellence.
