Background Vattenfall Treasury AB (VFT) is a subsidiary of Vattenfall AB with responsibility for borrowing, liability and liquidity management within the Vattenfall Group.VFT also constitutes the financial staff of the Group, and is responsible for co-ordinating the Group's internal banking activities as well as for co-ordinating and reporting the financial risks of the Group. VFT Front Office The Front Office is conducting VFTs activities within liability, liquidity and asset management, trading and internal banking.VFT has the sole responsibility to manage the Vattenfall Group liability portfolio and consequently the Front Office main challenge is to minimise the Group's funding cost.To safeguard the Group's availability of funds and to maintain considerable flexibility in the selection of financing forms and loan markets, the Group has access to several loan programmes.Net outstanding debt for the Group per June 30th was SEK 54 billion.The internal banking operation involves borrowing/lending within the Group and buying/selling currencies from/to group units, all on commercial terms.The Front Office today employs 4 people.We are currently looking for a newly graduate to our group.We offer an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within the financial areas. Responsibilities *Conduct day-to-day operation of the VFT's cash balance (Cash Pool) *Handle executions on the Money Market and Foreign Exchange *Create and maintain close contact with subsidiaries/entities and develop an in depth understanding of their (finance) business.Provide good advisory to group entities in Treasury related areas (funding and Foreign Exchange) *Assist in Asset and Liability Management *Candidate will also participate in special treasury related projects.
