We are now looking for a Competence Lead / Data Analyst to the Product Area Inventory Optimization in the Customer Fulfilment domain. Inventory optimization is a part of the Customer Fulfilment Domain and our responsibility covers solutions and improvements from replenishment, through stock optimization and fulfillment of orders to customers, stores, and partners. Inventory Optimizations’ mission is to make all inventory sellable and available for H&M Group customers in the most profitable and sustainable way possible.
About the role
The role has a dual focus including both staff responsibility for employees within the competence area Data Analysis (for a team up to six people), as well as contributing as a Data Analyst within your product team or product area. As a Competence Lead you are a key enabler of the agile way of working, ensuring that employees have the best possible circumstances to develop and grow. Through your own deliveries you keep a connection with the ongoing business to remain a relevant speaking partner to the employees.
You have a strong customer focus, a strong commercial mindset and innate curiosity. You will be the person that holds the holistic view of the competence area and be the mentor which will lead the way. You will also be participating with other product areas and domains to create the best solutions and strategies.
Responsibilities
Work with professional Data Analysts and have the staff responsibility for those
Work with performance management and salary review for employees (line management)
Support employee development through continuous dialogue, including coaching and mentoring
Recruitment of new employees, taking an active part in the recruitment process
Collaborate closely with product owners and other cross-functional teams, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions
Work hands on with data analysis within the product area or a product
We believe that you
have 5+ years of experience within the data analysis area
are flexible, stress-resistant and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized
have experience of staff responsibility or high interest in developing in this
have experience from working according to agile principles
have a strong motivation to work in an environment that allows you to work and take decisions independently
have a strong customer focus and commercial mindset
have an analytical, creative and curious mindset in combination with a strong foundation in data analysis and data processing
are fluent in English, both spoken and written
good skills in data querying using SQL
It is a benefit if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in data system architecture and design
Experience working with Azure Databricks
Experience in supply chain, retail, sales, store operations and/or stock management
Experience of – and/or high interest in - working with advanced analytics and AI or forecasting methodologies
