Tech Entrepreneurship Manager (English version)

In the role as Tech Entrepreneurship Manager, you will be involved in further developing our Digital Well Arena Startup ecosystem, involving three different programs; a Pre-Incubator, an Incubator and an Accelerator, all with a focus on healthtech.

About the job

Within DigitalWell Arena, a national innovation initiative to stimulate the development of health services of the future and run by Compare, our national and international startup ecosystem is built up to provide business development support for innovative companies within healthtech.

Our offering to the startups aim to create the best possible development support for tech entrepreneurs with potential. In our different programs we support companies in early stages through our Incubator program, as well as provide support for them to accelerate their growth and attract capital through our Accelerator program. We work closely with companies, mentors, investors and the public sector.

Our Startup ecosystem is open for healthtech companies from all over the Nordic and Baltic countries, e.g. our accelerator attracts companies from the Nordic and Baltic countries and is one of the most important investments within DigitalWell Arena.

Among other tasks, this role includes:

- Coach and support entrepreneurs to succeed with their startups in close collaboration with the team, service providers, partners and public sector

- Develop, establish and market the DigitalWell Arena Startup ecosystem

- To present, communicate and inspire about the activities through both digital and IRL channels

- Participate in and arrange different types of events, network meetings and meetings for different target groups

- Collaborate with regional, national and international actors in the innovation support system

About you

We believe that you are a relationship- building entrepreneur and a doer who enjoys working in teams and has an ability to drive development processes. Preferably you have knowledge about gov tech and the public sector challenges related to health as it aligns with the focus for the startup ecosystem. We believe that change and development are important to you, that you are creative and good at absorbing new knowledge. You are comfortable with flexible working conditions and have no problems redirecting in the event of changed conditions.

You are passionate about innovation and enjoy supporting and enabling entrepreneurs to succeed. If you have launched a startup it always a plus, since you know all the highs and lows of the journey! You are a bit of a nerd and build-measure-learn, until it works, is your approach to work. Startup tools and methodologies are of your interest. You like not only improving things but not scary of making big changes and learning from successes and failures.

It would be of course of benefit if you worked with public sector (regions, municipalities) and knew challenges related to running a startup and having government as a customer.

Great emphasis will be on personal qualities in the recruitment for this position.
