Tech Lead

Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. We're looking for a Tech Lead that will lead one of our teams within the Tech department. The scope of the role is the Tech team’s area of responsibility and overall work duties will include:
Prepare and lead the team’s short and long term planning together with the Product Manager and other relevant leads
Appoint and support architects
Responsible for cross team communication with all relevant technical stakeholders
Ensure the feasibility and balance of the team’s OKRs and roadmap
Accountable for that the team has a technical vision and that the team’s technical solutions align with platform vision, established conventions and satisfy dependencies from other teams
Unblock the team by fostering collaboration via mentoring, knowledge sharing and other relevant means

We believe you:
Have balanced skills in Technical Leadership and Software Engineering. As an example, a Tech Lead ensures and supports that the team uses appropriate engineering practices, invests in continual improvements to tooling or technical debt.
Can co-lead a team together with Product Manager and Engineering Manager with particular focus on the parts of the technology platform important to the team.
Can support Architects to make sound technical decisions
Have the ability to collaborate closely together with relevant counterparts to prepare OKR discussions and planning
Can collaborate with Product Manager to ensure that features are valuable and provide insights and expertise on the feasibility aspects.
Have the skill to lead the team’s continuous work towards a common technical vision.
