Tech Lead - Android Framework

You are a skilled software developer and technical leader who has proven experience in leading one or more technical areas within a project.

As a Tech Lead at HaleyTek you will be working part-time as one of the Lead Developer in a team, and part-time in a virtual Tech Lead team. Together with the other Tech Leads, you will be in charge of defining software strategies, guidelines and the overall architecture on a company level. Additionally, you will be supporting the different dev. teams in their daily work with their technical/architectural decisions.

In short - you will be paving the technical path for the future of the company!

For this specific recruitment, we expect you to have experience and strong interest in working with Android Framework / AOSP and a high knowledge in all levels from HAL to Emulator.

Qualifictions

- ~7-10 years experience in developing software within Android framework

- Experience from working as a lead developer within a team.

- Having both broad and deep understanding and personal interest of the different software development phases: software architecture, design, coding, testing, review, devops.

- Understanding and interest of the full software lifecycle and how processes affect the operations of developers.

- Willing to do hands on work in the code base.

- Have good communication skills and feel comfortable in doing technical presentations for external partners or within the company.

- Experience working within Automotive and/or QNX operating systems is considered a plus.
