Tech lead for Product Backlog Management and Team Collaboration

The Solution R&D Engineering Enablers & Digital consists of several ARTs/Clusters. The solution is an agile set up of two organizations, R&D and Digital.

In our Cluster Insights and Product Development Support (IPDS) our main goal is to support different stakeholders with digital solutions. The IPDS cluster is working with enabling product development within Volvo Cars with digital tools and solutions. 
We are also working with leveraging insights and analytics to support in the development of new products and services. The cluster is using a wide array of technologies and platforms and the stakeholders are spread out both internally within Volvo Cars and externally at our partners.

To achieve this, the cluster consist of 10 different products where Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Product teams work alongside according to the agile framework SAFe to deliver value to the Products that are aligned to the architectural runway.
In our product Backlog Management and Team Collaboration we are now searching for a Tech lead to join the team. We work with Jira and Confluence to support Volvo Cars Product Development Process.

What you’ll do
The Tech lead works close with the PO to define a technical and architectural vision/runway for the Product and participates in defining the systems, functions, modules, interfaces, validate technology assumptions, and evaluate alternatives within the solution context.

We are looking for someone that can have an agile approach to designing and building systems and have a systems-thinking mindset. Someone with customer centric design thinking that can guide and lead the product team to moving in the right direction and help us in continuing our transformation towards a DevOps future.

You will work closely with the team and help them align their applications into the architectural runway. The role will be focusing on supporting the team with the holistic product view and ensuring technical continuity in the product.
You will also participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events where you support the team.

Requirements, knowledge & skills
Ability to have a holistic architectural and business mindset
Support with solution proposals that is aligned with the application’s current setup
Bachelor in a relevant field
Experience from complex global environments
Experience from managing stakeholders
Experience of challenges and possibilities using the cloud 
Understanding of key data concepts such as warehouses, marts, lakes, etc.
Understand information and data lifecycles
Being forward looking within the business and research data and information spaces 
Passionate to create an information eco-system 
Ability to analyze information usage patterns and performance 
Develop/improve agile test process and tools 
Broad Atlassian portfolio knowledge and adaptation experience
Support team with quality assurance
