Stena Line is in an exciting period of change, when it comes to digitalisation and truly being an innovative forward-thinking company. Our Transformation department and its Freight team has one aim and that is to give our freight customers, both internal and external, top class digital solutions that supports their everyday work. We are a cross functional group of 28 people with developers, architects, UX-designers, product owners, team leads, test and business support. Since our manager is leaving to pursue new challenges, we are looking for someone to help us grow and develop!
What will you do?
As Tech Lead you will lead & coordinate the teams developing and implementing the digital initiatives within the Freight area, working together towards Stena Line’s bold goal of becoming the world’s first cognitive ferry company. You are the one who provide the team with the support, coaching, guiding and motivation to the best they can be. You provide vision and leadership for the team developing and implementing digital initiatives and direct the planning, implementation, operation and support of all IT systems in close collaboration with Stena IT. As a Technology Lead you are responsible for supporting overall technology strategy within your area and work closely with Transformation Lead and Business Lead to ensure that business strategy and technology strategy are tightly aligned.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Provide supervision, guidance and development of your team of tech savvy people
• Advance the technical expertise of the team and advocate and advance modern software development practices and delivery methods – including Agile and DevOps
• Support Digital business development in partnership with other stakeholders
• Support the Transformation Lead in developing a digital roadmap, plan and execute initiatives and continuously follow up development, timelines & business impact
• Develop and maintain a diverse IT workforce within the team
• Ensure alignment of digital transformation initiatives across our transformation areas from a development and technology point of view

The must-haves:
• Bachelor degree in Systems Science, Computer Science or similar
• Excellent people management skills
• Previous experience in a leading role, such as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Team Lead or similar
• A technical background
• Fluent in English and Swedish
