Description
The system the client will use is a set of standardized and well established tools, digital products and services tailored for the the clients retail business. This Retail Package is built based on a “best of breed” approach with Microsoft applications at the core.
The system currently consist of a store module (Master Version Business Central) based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Central, a business intelligence application (Master Version Qlik Sense), based on Qlik Sense, a Customer Relations Management module (Master Version CRM), based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and an E-commerce module (Master Version E-com).
This role is responsible for aligning with the platform owner, test team, implementation teams and or business central business area subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements for the test environment set up, developing a detailed plan to coordinate deployment and needed configuration with the related suppliers of Dynamics 365 Business Central. Supporting the SMEs on the new configuration for new functionality connected to deployments of sprint deliveries, and resolving and issues that arise during and shortly after deployment and during testing.
Mandatory competence and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working on design, configuration, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV 2016/2017/2018.
- Knowledge of C\AL, and experience with AL.
- Understanding of Events and Subscribers and Dynamics NAV Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON etc)
- SharePoint and Azure knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge and expertise in building and implementing (customised) solutions.
- Be able to train, Implement and Support customisations in Dynamics 365 BC.
- Technical design, development and testing of core Dynamics 365 Business Central Apps.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development.
- Make technical recommendations for installation, modifications.
- Support to convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under a tight and changing deadline.
- Sound understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
