Then the role as Tech Lead at PostNord may be just right for you! You will be an important part of the cross border team at PostNord and will be involved in driving technology modernization and transformation.

Responsibilities
As the tech lead in the Cross Border team you will be responsible for delivering the IT solutions supporting the UPU Based Cross Border production, EDI Messaging and customs handling in PostNord. The solution is built around a COTS product, International Post System (IPS) and handles EDI communication to and from other postal handling organizations, airlines, subsidiaries, and the domestic production solutions. The Cross Border International solution is integrated with several critical systems across the Nordics. You will work in close collaboration with peers working with these systems on how to introduce changes. You will work with a mix of legacy code developed in C# .NET and new component based modularized architecture that will move towards microservices hosted in an OpenShift environment.
You will be part of an open and including team, consisting of product owners, scrum masters, tech leads and developers, working according to Scrum and SAFe in an agile release train. The teams are distributed across Sweden and India and have a hybrid way of working where most of the teamwork is done digitally. You will be working with continuous improvement and development to improve individually and as a team with the purpose to contribute and make everyday life easier for PostNords customers and business.

In summary, you will work in a broad role within areas such as;

- Developing and maintaining solutions with focus on UPU Based Cross Border parcel and mail business
- Work closely with solution architects and the team to define the system architecture and implement changes in the systems meeting the business needs
- Evaluate and introduce new technology whenever feasible
- Managing the technical debt of the system and planning for small and large changes to improve quality, time to market, reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the system

Qualifications
We see that you have, or build, a solid understanding of the business domain and how the technical solution provides value. You are used to working with high transactional- and business critical systems. You have solid knowledge of .NET C# and Object Oriented Development principles (OOD & OOP).

Requirements:
- Solid knowledge in .NET C#
- Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Development principles (OOD & OOP)
- Message queues and streaming, Tibco EMS (or equivalent) and Kafka
- Experience in taking system architectural and software design decisions and implementing these. Modelling using UML.
- Good knowledge in developing IT products with focus on security, scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Experience working in distributed development teams, preferably offshore or nearshore
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Academic degree in IT or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through work experience and continuing professional education
Meritorious:
- Relational databases, MS SQL Server and cloud databases
- Cloud based development Azure or AWS
- Used to work in a DevOps model. Agile methods like SAFe and Scrum About PostNord Group AB.
