Description

The Tech Lead within the development organization is responsible for aligning the development community and architecture within all departments. The role includes architectural alignment, coaching the development teams in improved ways of working and facilitating collaboration.

This particular tech lead role is focusing on promoting collaboration and reuse and does not have a particular home in any of the development teams, but rather on a department-level cross-team.

You can however expect to join development teams in hands-on deep dives in particular challenges if needed. In particular- promoting reuse, modularization and maintainability is something that requires close communication and innovation.

Swedish language skills are a must for this assignment.

Work tasks:

- Ensure that Enterprise Architecture and IT security requirements are met, and the solutions are designed in alignment with Digital & IT overall target architecture.
- Remove technical obstacles for the Digital & IT organization.
- Assist in driving the tech lead skill hub and initiatives from that group to ensure that communication and collaboration is smooth.
- Prepare high level architectural decisions and assist in the communication of the decided Enterprise Architecture.
- Engage in continuously enhancing the overall target architecture and tech principles to ensure that it is accurate and relevant.
- Driving software craftsmanship and a continuous delivery mindset.
- Solve architectural challenges together with the development teams and leaders
- Coordinate integrations with the portfolio (e.g. SEIP, NAP, EDW) and external integrations with other Tech leads and external suppliers
- Ensure collection of data as well as easy access for the team and business stakeholders
- Understand different regulations and be able to translate that into working software such as Accessibility and GDPR.
- Understand how to recognize and mitigate application security risks
- Participate in negotiations with external suppliers as a tech/architecture expert
- Be active in the problem management process to make sure that incidents do not re-occur
- Ensure that the teams work proactively with security and aligns with security specialists when needed.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Experience of working with Enterprise Architecture in large organizations.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical challenges and drive improvements/decision-making.
- Proven experience as a tech lead/senior software engineer, ideally with exposure to both ‘world-class rapidly growing technology first’ working with customer-facing solutions and businesses going thru digital transformation at a significant scale.
- Possess a deep understanding of how to translate business goals into tech strategies.
- Experience in developing software in the travel domain is highly valued.
- Preferably an M.Sc. or similar.
