Tech Leads OPERA core, Solna

Responsibilities
In this role you will develop and maintain systems with focus on digital ordering of PostNord services.

Information required to be collected from our customers to be able to collect, sort and deliver our core products of parcels, pallets, and traceable letters. You will work closely with solution architects and the team to define the system architecture and implement the changes in the systems meeting the business needs. You will evaluate new technology and introduce this whenever feasible. Furthermore, you will manage the technical debt of the system and plan for small and large changes to address the technical debt with the objective to improve quality, time to market, reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the system.  The Nordic EDI solution is integrated with several critical backend systems across the Nordics. You will work in close collaboration with peers working with these systems on how to introduce changes. You will be required to have, or build, a solid understanding of the business domain and how the technical solution provides value.
In summary, you will work in a broad role and touch on areas such as; 


- Act as the technical lead for the IT product
- Overall responsible for technical aspects of the IT product its implementation, and the operation of the components within the defined IT product
- Senior hands-on developer, capable of taking day-to-day technical, software engineering and system architecture decisions
- Responsible for keeping the software/system up to date according to applicable principles and guidelines
- Work closely with product owner and team to refine and design features
- Work closely with product owner and solution architect to agree on team capacity allocation and sequencing of work
- Evaluate and try out new technologies, aligned with Enterprise Architecture
- Contributes to the content of the ART’s Architectural Runway to support Features and Capabilities in product roadmap
- Monitor, analyze and follow-up on technical debt. Creates enabler features and enabler stories to secure that technical debt and lifecycle management are handled as part of prioritization
- Facilitates systematic code quality improvement processes
- Responsible for that the IT product development is aligned with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategy
- Mentor the team in specific technologies, design patterns, languages, frameworks, guidelines and principles
- Define skills and competences required in the team
- Evaluate and onboard new team members

Requirement: 
- Academic degree in IT (System Analysis, System Engineering etc.), or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through work experience and continuing professional education
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in systems development within the technology stack of product
- Good knowledge in developing products with focus on security, scalability, reliability, and availability
- Excellent analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of software analysis and design:

- Information modeling
- Modeling with UML 

- Good experience of successfully coaching developers
- Experience in taking system architectural and software design decisions
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Understanding of automated testing and tools
- Experience working in distributed development teams, preferably offshore or nearshore
- Passionate in writing clean and scalable code and creating world-class software 

Meriterande: 
- Postal / logistics / e-commerce / retail business knowledge
- Ambition and ability to lead and develop others
- Experience with Agile way of working (preferably SAFe and/or Scrum)
- Good communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish or Danish
