Techical graphic designer

Are you passionate about graphic design, brand, marketing, and communications? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join us at Communications, one of the departments within Axis with global responsibility for the Axis Brand, Strategic Content Communications, Marketing Communications and Events.

Who is your future team?
The Marketing Communications team delivers various media such as videos, animations, collaterals, illustrations, installation guides, and more. Our role is to maintain brand consistency and provide efficient communication to different target groups and channels.

What you'll do here as Technical graphic designer?
We are looking for an experienced Technical graphic designer that will be part of Illustration team within Marcom Production. You will focus on technical illustrations that are mostly used for our installation guides and work closely with project team and technical writers.

* Create step-by-step illustrations for our installation guides that explains how to install Axis products.
* Create schematics and other technical illustrations that might be needed, as well as participating in workshops.
* Together with the Illustration team, share the responsibility for improving guidelines, workflows, and processes.

Who are you?

* We believe you have an eye for details and have ability to understand and translate highly technical information into illustrations.
* We believe you have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in information design or informative illustrations, graphic design, mechanical design, computer graphics, technical communication, technical illustration, or related field.
* You have strong illustration skills, and previous experience from comparable work are all essential qualifications.
* The person we are looking for needs to be well-structured, have cooperation skills, and ability to plan projects based on given deadlines and prioritize tasks in an efficient way.
* You must have experience and knowledge in 3D CAD (preferably PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Creo Illustrate and PDM-Link/Windchill), and in the Adobe Creative Suite, particular strong skills in Illustrator.

Apart from the above, we believe that you are interested in exploring and learning more about our technology and that you have an interest in communicative and informative illustration design.
Good English skills are essential.
