About the job

We are looking for our new Technical Account Manager, who will be responsible for the account management of Key customers. As a Technical Account Manager you must strive for regional Sales growth towards global and regional customers, according to Polarium´s strategy and growth plan. As a Technical account manager at Polarium you will also ensure excellent customer satisfaction and be the spokesperson for for Key Customers and conduit of technical requirements from Key Customers into the Polarium organization. To be successful in this role, you must also understand >span class="normaltextrun"> >span class="normaltextrun">in Nigeria, Kenya or South Africa, and extensive businesss travel will be required.



Responsibilities:

- Mange the customer relation throughout the project life cycle in cooperation with other departments within Polarium.
- Plan, organize, direct and control sales and customer program activities to meet set objectives.
- Establish and maintain customer relations and cooperate with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure >span class="normaltextrun"> Customer’s information and activities are updated into >span class="normaltextrun"> systems.
- Maximize both present and long-term sales and gross profits.
- Present and sell in battery, power and ESS products and solutions including related logistic and other service offerings, matching the needs.




Who are you?

We are looking for a self-driven person with the capability to see the big picture. You have a strong technical background and a genuine interest to build and maintain relationship with Polarium’s customers. We believe you have 10 years’ experience in B2B sales and experience in similar positions, preferably in Telecom power supply or battery field. We also believe you enjoy a fast-growing corporate environment. 



Qualifications and experience:

- Experience in B2B sales and account management with technical products.
- Experience in sales with complex technical products.
- Natural talent for building and maintaining relationships.
- Master or bachelor´s degree in relevant field.
- High internal structure and drive.
- Excellent people skills and a good-natured competitive spirit.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- French language competency is desired, but not compulsory.
