Heimstaden continues to grow, and we are therefore making room for one more colleague in the Finance department – a Technical Accounting Manager who will report to Director of Financial Controlling and Reporting.

Some of your responsibilities as Technical Accounting Manager will be:

• Responsibility for the Group’s accounting principles and compliance with IFRS
• Ownership of all technical accounting analysis to ensure compliance with requirements, including preparation of technical accounting memos and provision of technical advice
• Contributor in the reporting of technical accounting issues to the Audit and Risk Committee
• Ensure applicable policies and guidelines are updated in the company’s financial manual
• Ownership of technical accounting in areas related to acquisitions and support in financial due diligence processes
• Contributor to the consolidation process and quarterly and annual reports
• Analyze new and proposed accounting standards and determine the impact on the company
• Implement and train teams, of changes in accounting principles and or internal policies
• Accounting technical business partner to the Group and local finance teams, and stakeholders
• Participate in and support various projects

Who are we looking for?

We believe that you will thrive in this role if you have earned a university degree in business administration or accounting and have worked a minimum of 5 years in a similar role or from audit. You have a passion for analyzing accounting issues and applying theory in practice. In these previous roles that you have had, you have acquired substantial knowledge from IFRS and external reporting. You speak and write flawlessly in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
