About the job

Project Order is a team within GPHE Lund Assembly at Alfa Laval Lund, responsible for handling complex project/orders that generate a high financial value to the company. Our projects come from the entire world, very often monitored by means of inspections and our customers, which gives several international contacts.

You will contribute to exceed customers’ expectations by having an important function within the projects. You will act as a project member in local and global projects and be the internal link between relevant functions. You will have an important support function assisting with technical documentation and making sure that the data in our ERP system is relevant and up to date.

The role also involves order handling, mainly for the after sales business.

You will have an important role aligning your work with our ALPS priorities: safety, quality, delivery and cost. The position reports to Team Manager Project Order.

Your key tasks will be:
* Assist with technical documentation for projects
* Secure that the data in the ERP-system is correctly updated according to project requirements
* Various technical project support
* Support the management team and colleagues administratively on request
* Reporting of data
* Assist with communication activities
* Acting as a channel between central functions as Project Managers, Design Engineers, Master Data Specialists, Bid Engineers and other relevant functions
* Participation in the department’s work on continuous improvements in accordance with “Lean Six Sigma”
* Order handling.

What you know

We believe you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office programs. You have experience from and good understanding of manufacturing/processes and supply chain. You have experience from improvement tools e.g. 5S, Six Sigma or Kaizen.

You are fluent in Swedish and English on a high technical level, both spoken and written. Experience from similar roles and/or a university degree in Engineering or similar will be a merit.
