Husqvarna Group – Digital Solutions looking for is now looking for a Technical Architect - IoT & Connectivity to Common Services

As a Technical Architect, you will be a member of one of our five Common Services DevOps teams. Together we develop and operate a platform that enables development of digital services for Husqvarna's customers.
Each team is responsible for several services adding capabilities to the platform. Together we ensure scalability, reusability, and efficient development of digital services across Husqvarna. Our services are primarily event-based service communication and headless REST APIs, of which the teams have an end-to-end responsibility.
In this role you will work in a dynamic environment with the complete lifecycle of software development, including requirements, design, coding, CI/CD, testing, operations, and maintenance. This will require a great curiosity and drive to learn about Husqvarna, software tools and technology. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality services that meets the ever-changing needs of the platform and our customers at Husqvarna. Working as architect will incorporate understand the bigger picture, gather information and requirements, dialog with stakeholders, gathering and understand the common shared need, and with this as base, form foundation to take decisions.

Who Are You?
We're looking for someone who's not just a tech whiz, but also a team player with a passion for making things happen. If you're the kind of person who loves diving into tech, especially IoT projects and exploring new things, you might just be the perfect fit. Your background in programming and experience of distributed systems are crucial. But what really sets you apart is your hands-on experience in the IoT space. You should be comfortable working with cloud-native technologies and have a solid understanding of how they fit into the IoT landscape.
Here's what we're looking for:
+ 10 years of experience as a professional software engineer, with a focus on Cloud PaaS/SaaS technologies for the last 5 years and demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud-based platforms and services.
Options: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, GO. AWS, Azue, GCP
Experience in REST API and event-based applications based on cloud-native and microservices principles, with hands-on experience in containerization and/or serverless technologies.
Options: AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, or Quarkus.
Experience in IoT-related tools and technologies particularly within AWS, showcasing expertise in message queues and event-driven architecture/design. Reflecting a deep understanding of IoT ecosystem components and integration techniques.
Options: Industrial IoT, CQRS, AMQP, IoT Edge, Digital Twin, SQS, Data Lake, and Timeseries.
Communication and collaboration are key in this role. You'll be working closely with teammates from different backgrounds, so being able to express yourself clearly and work well with others is a must. And since we're an international team, fluency in English is essential. Office location is Huskvarna, with the possibility to a hybrid setup.
