We are looking for a bright and driven person to join our IP Infrastructure team. Telenor is rapidly heading towards the digital future and we are looking for people with a natural proactive drive who wish to make a difference.

What you’ll do
You will be part of a team with width and deep knowledge within all areas of IP, Ethernet and WDM. The team works with all from strategy, analysis, design, procurement to proof-of-concept setups in lab. You will be communicating with different business areas regarding requirements and technical possibilities/limitations.

Your tasks
* Keep track of technical developments and trends
* Strategy and analysis
* Proactively strive towards cost reductions
* Produce technical document and presentations
* Acts as technical advisor in projects
* Create and maintain technical design rules
* Approve technical solutions which affect current and future architecture
* Make sure technical requirements meet the functional requirements set by internal customers and contributors
* Architectural responsibilities during RFP/RFQ processes
* Establish informal network with other TA’s within Networks
* Technical SPOC regarding architecture towards vendors
* Regular budgeting and forecast support

Your Responsibilities
* Define technical solutions and performance targets to achieve market requirements
* Create roadmap for networks and platforms
* Develop and maintain networks and services which has a long-term financial value for Telenor Sverige AB
* To actively contribute profitable growth through making sure Telenor Sweden is facing the market with the right product at the right time
* Recommendations during RFQ processes regarding selecting, or not selecting a particular vendor based on Technical excellence or cost (TCO)

Who are you
We believe that you have:
* Master/Bachelor of Science in Telecom or IT, or equivalent work experience
* You have extensive experience from working with network technology at an service provider or vendor
* You have deep knowledge within the areas of IP and Ethernet mixed with understanding of economy and business.
* Experience of designing, implementing and using provisioning system for IP network is an advantage
* Experience of implementing IP-services on Linux platform is an advantage
* Fluency in Swedish and English (both written and verbal)

You are used to act on your own initiative, make things happen and take responsibility for the outcome. You are a team player who works effectively with others, who shares knowledge and information and supports others in the pursuit of common goals. Your ability to quickly analyze complex questions and problems is very good. Furthermore, you are interested in continuously developing in the expert role. You have ability to present new and inventive ideas and solutions, and you can respectfully challenge traditional approaches. Finally, you are a very good communicator who communicates clearly verbally as well as in writing, creating reports and documentation.
