Technical Architect – Microwave Transmission

We are looking for an experienced transmission planner to join our RAN delivery team. We are approximately 20 people and consist of project managers, transmission planners and administrators. We are responsible for the end to end rollout of mobile radio and transmission sites in our mobile network.

What you’ll do
In this role you will be a key member of our RAN Delivery team. You will be responsible for the planning of microwave transmission to our new sites and capacity upgrades the existing MW network. You will be managing and working in close cooperation with our partner who handles all operative tasks based on your instructions and guidelines. You will be responsible for supporting and monitoring our partner in both technical and procedural aspects. Furthermore you will be responsible for financial budgeting and follow-up in corporation with our business controller.

You are analytical and methodical and are good at creating structure and driving improvement. You enjoy analyzing and solving technical and complex problems. We would like you to meet most of the below requirements:
* Technical bachelor or master’s degree or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience with microwave planning and a good knowledge of fiber transmission  
* Experience with Mini-Link TN platform 
* Experience with IP/Ethernet planning, configuration and troubleshooting
* Experience with Aircom planning tool
* Experience from a mobile network rollout and a good understanding of the how civil works, radio and transmission relates to each other
* Professional level in spoken and written English
