Technical Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who is capable of taking technical specifications, understanding how they work and interpreting the technical requirements as user stories so that they can be converted into working integrations by our team of software engineers.

You should be comfortable working in an agile environment, with a cross-functional team to deliver working functionality.

About you

- You can read and interpret developer documentation and API specifications in order to understand the technical capabilities of APIs.
- You are an excellent communicator, who has worked with developers to translate the functionality of systems into business requirements.
- You are customer focused and are happy to talk to our software partners to understand and share knowledge about various systems.
- 2+ years of experience working with various protocols such as Web Sockets and SOAP.
- You understand HTTP and have worked with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of XSDs and WSDLs.
- Deep understanding of data interchange formats such as XML and JSON.
- You have used Postman, or similar software to interrogate APIs.


Nice to have:

- Understanding of UBL (Universal Business Language).
- You have knowledge of ERP systems and may have prior experience in business domains such as accounting, online payments, and e-commerce.
- Understanding of programming languages and databases.
