Overview
Global Hygiene Supply within SCA is looking for a driven Technical Buyer to support our production site in Falkenberg. The Technical Buyer provides direct support to the Purchasing Managers, leads cost out projects across all Hub sites and ensures full compliance to SCA Purchase to Pay process.
Falkenberg’s plant, has approximately 400 employees, and is characterized as a modern organization and a high-tech machine park. Here, technology development and improvement projects are ongoing, with the majority of our products being "fast moving consumer goods." In the factory, baby diapers and incontinence products are produced, primarily targeted for the Nordic markets, UK and Central/Eastern Europe.

The position is located in Falkenberg, Sweden and you will report to the Purchasing Manager.



Main Tasks
To execute design to cost opportunities for all hub streams across all Hub sites, ensuring working capital efficiency
To comply with SCA procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
To support Hub Sourcing managers  in the execution of tenders, supplier qualification, supplier selection, risk management
To work closely with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings
To maintain and develop knowledge database, aligning reporting capability across the hub and co-ordination of systems improvements, driving initiatives such as E- procurement
To review and monitor sourcing operational needs when interfacing with suppliers, ensuring effective communication of best practices and supporting roll out of these initiatives (Hub level)
To review and maintain records of approved suppliers in line with SCA risk policy
Ensure that the interests of SCA are managed in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with SCA Supplier Standard
To ensure, where appropriate, the integration of common product types across all sites of SCA and ensure a harmonized approach across all hub engineering storerooms
To supply regular updates and KPI’s to Sourcing managers to ensure effective communication of cost saving activities (Actual v’s target)

Key Competencies
At least 3 years´ experience in purchasing with demonstrated procurement competencies or transferable knowledge.
Relevant educational background
Solid SAP knowledge – be able to use reporting functionality
CIPS membership and Graduate Diploma in Purchasing & Supply preferable or appropriate internal training qualifications
Strong analytical competence with advanced Microsoft, in particular, Excel skills
Excellent Communication skills in both English and Swedish
