THE INTERNSHIP
Diversity Challenge offers academics the opportunity to work as a Technical Buyer with our Supplying department. You will be a part of our daily business and will be responsible for tasks involving operational purchasing of technical components for example; making inquiries to suppliers, evaluating and reviewing quotes and decide on the purchase of technical components. You will additionally be responsible for delivery to our suppliers - the logistic handling and supplying auxiliaries to customer projects. In this position you will get a wide network of contacts both internally and externally.
The internship is a fulltime paid placement with variable duration period of 4-6 months and possibility for permanent placement thereafter. Starting date is in February 2014.
YOUR PROFILE
You are most likely an engineering graduate with focus on industrial economy, chemistry, mechanics or hold experience from technical purchasing or supplier work. It is crucial to have basic technical knowledge and understand critical parameters from process industry. As a person you are open-minded, result oriented, structured, coordinative, and take full responsibility for your own work.
Additionally, we see that you
- Are fluent in English and Swedish
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
