Technical Car Coordinator - Olofström
At Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a global production team that makes sure that the cars we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. In close collaboration with colleagues in other business units, we develop and implement flexible and efficient production systems with people in focus. As Technical Car Coordinator within the group Project Coordination you will be part of a smaller team and mainly work against the stamping area within different projects for current and new car models. Your role is to direct requests to the concerned manufacturing functions in the organisation. You will act in a networking and coordinating role securing deliverance regarding cost, time and resources and implement changes within the production. Project coordination coordinates the workflow of the project and ensures critical time activities at the requests and introductions of equipment changes.
Your technical competence should be strong and you need to have a good understanding for the complexity of the necessary production and equipment changes and the effect of its implementation in the production. Your mindset should be visionary and you should have a focus on finding solutions that minimise the cost and lead times. You are organised and you will often see yourself as the driver within different areas. You are proactive to make sure that everything is in the right place at the right time.
Main responsibilities
* Coordinate project activities and secure plans to implement changes in the production
* Evaluate lead time, cost, technology and deliverance of tool changes
* Report status and deviations in decided project plans and ensure follow-up actions
* Launch necessary administrative systems and coordinate activities up to introduction and delivery
* Contact with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Required qualifications
* Upper secondary education
* Documented experience from project management preferably within Manufacturing projects, Equipment Manufacturing Production Planning and/or Quality Assurance
* Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Good communication skills in English and Swedish, written and spoken
* Drivers license (B-level)
