Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Due to extensive growth plans we are now seeking a committed and collaborative Technical Coordinator who wants to join us with the primary responsibility to support the Sweden Software & Electronics Management Team.

This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you’ll do
It’s a role with global reach, with the main R&D centre in the UK, the company HQ is in Sweden, and business units across Europe, China and US and in addition to this the role has many external interfaces with strategic partners and suppliers.
The Technical coordinator is a key function enhancing the Sweden Software & Electronics Management team’s effectiveness by providing business coordination, administrative support and management support, thorough business analysis as well as representing the SW&E unit on various matters.
For the Head of Polestar Software & Electronics (UK) and the Software & Electronics Management team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Administration, planning and coordination, analysis and investigations
- Maintain agendas, structure meetings, support the creation of town hall meetings, prepare content, prepare technical meetings, maintain action lists.
- Ignite internal communication to the whole R&D department and engage in the organization’s journey.
- Being an essential part of the SW&E roadmap development, establishing and building on key relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
- Automating our processes and approval flows
- Support with technical presentations, townhalls and managing events
Who you are

You take ownership in various areas, tasks and to-do’s quickly and reliably. You have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as problem solving and planning. You have a self-starting ability with a pioneering spirit, resourcefulness and a proactive approach with a go get attitude.
To be successful in this role we believe you have:
- Engineering and/or equivalent degree
- Basic knowledge of electrical architectures within the automotive industry
- Previous experience within product development
- Previous experience from the automotive industry
- Great skills in the Office 365 area, specifically MS Excel
- Great technical, strategic and financial understanding
