Customer interest and expectations on security is growing, especially with the introduction of 5G and related services. Product security and information protection are high priorities at Ericsson.

We are now searching for a technical coordinator for the Vulnerability Analysis (VA) section in Development Unit Networks (DNEW) Security organization. You will work in a team responsible for Security Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Analysis of Ericsson products in the RAN networks with focus on 5G. You will primarily lead changes and drive improvements within Vulnerability analysis and test, but also be part of improvement work within VA area depending on your experience.

You will
Drive VA changes through DNEW organization, working close together with leaders in the VA team
Drive and follow up the progress of ongoing initiative to move parts of VA activities to design teams
Drive and/or be part of improvements activities
Coordinate VA activities, present findings and propose mitigations to developers, testers and other partners
Interact with DNEW Programs and units and report VA status for features
Feedback projects/programs based on performed risk analysis


To be successful in the role you must have
Education: BSc/MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
At least 3-5 years experience as a technical coordinator or tester/developer with leadership skills
Genuine interest in software development and product & application security
Results-oriented, problem solving, end-to-end thinking and value driven development mentality
Some experience from working with Vulnerability Analysis or Security
Ability to communicate and present results in English, both verbally and in written
Collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills
Experience of programming in php/python/bash/java or similar environment
Understanding of automation in development processes such as DevSecOps and CI/CD
