The marketing team
Our Marketing department today consists of a cross-functional team working with comms and design, web optimisation, performance marketing, product marketing and events. Now, we are looking at expanding the team to become 16 people in the upcoming months. Together, you will spread the word about Detectify in our target markets and build a global brand.
What you’ll get to do
As a member of this team, you are a strong communicator with great writing skills and will serve as the web security subject matter expert, lead construction of security content, and contribute to the overall marketing goals. Our security research is the key part of our content marketing strategy and you will work with the Content Manager to define the content themes for our technical blog, Detectify Labs. Knowledge sharing is the key value of Detectify and it’s the way we gain confidence from our target group. To be successful in this role, we expect that you:
Stay on top of the latest attacks, web vulnerabilities, and mitigations
Have a foot in the security community, or willingness to develop your own network within the security community
Work with our Detectify security researchers and Crowdsource hackers to create engaging content
Research and report on thought-provoking security topics and the latest findings
You will own content production and curation for Detectify Labs

Who you are
Overall, you are passionate about web security and want to engage with an international network of security researchers and distribute security knowledge. You also have:
A journalist background
Interest in or previous experience with hacking culture
Proven record of high-quality publications - you either have a blog or collaborate with content aggregators
Strong written and presentation skills in English
Experience working in cross-functional teams
