We are looking for a Technical Development Engineer to join our Nordic team!

As Technical Development Engineer your mission is....
to deliver technical support to our customers and colleagues, delivering support on all polymers and processes. You will also work alongside our Key Account Manager team in delivering this, maximising customer interaction, finding, creating and commercialising opportunities. If you have commercial and sales skills, the role can be adapted to develop your responsibilities and succeed in your ambitions. This could be customer responsibility, product management responsibility, or indeed a hybrid of all.
Work can be done from our office in Malmö or your home office anywhere in Sweden. The main focus is on the Swedish market and also to be expected to provide support across the whole Nordic region.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Development Engineer to support and develop the sales of our whole portfolio of polymers in the Nordic region. Distrupol is recognised for its excellent technical support offering. Our Technical Development Engineer team have an unrivalled knowledge in polymer technology – from combining best material selection with best design to achieve maximum part performance and optimised production, to process trouble-shooting and problem solving. And because we have a comprehensive range of polymers, it is always the right material for the job. Our suppliers demand the best support of their polymers, and our customers demand we bring it to them. Distrupol delivers that.
You enjoy interacting with customers, positively trying to maximise customer visits – after all, you recognise the importance of building strong and enduring customer relationships – this is where you bring value, and this is how you find and create opportunities. You want to be the first and the last call the customer makes for any project or problem – and delivering the solution. Finding, creating and commercialising opportunities is what you do. To succeed you will need to be self-driven, resilient and have a positive can-do attitude.
The role requires:

A relevant degree in polymers/engineering/technology is a serious advantage, however proven experience is essential.


Experience in polymer materials, design, development and processing


Proven track record and experience in delivering and supporting sales growth with customers through technical support.


Must be fluent in Swedish and English. Other language skills are a welcome advantage.


You may also have commercial and sales skills and experience (or have ambitions in these areas) as well – terrific! We could support you and modify the role for you accordingly.
