Technical Director to Syncron

Syncron is looking for Technical Director to join our team in Stockholm. You will have a significant impact on Aftermarket Service Optimization by shaping the technical architecture and design of one of our key products.
Key Responsibilities
Drive technical architecture and design process of a go-to-market product.
Balance long-term technology needs and tactical direction
Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture to anticipate future technology needs and proactively plan for outcomes.
Own the technical design, development, and deployment of the product by following guidelines and patterns established by the central architecture team.
Own the stability, scalability, maintainability, and performance of the product.
Work with Product Management to analyze usability metrics and customer satisfaction and initiate actions to enhance performance, scalability, and availability.
Continually explore technology advancements in relevant areas. Serve as a source of technical expertise and mentor product development teams.
Coach technical design, estimates, and test plans for critical product areas; raise quality standards through reviews. Address architectural concerns.
Cooperate with support and development teams to guide on critical production issues.
Contribute to product milestones by taking on and assisting engineering in solving the most complex problems.
Help the Product Management team identify and understand dependencies; represent them in technical forums.
Foster a quality culture by helping to streamline automation, tools, and processes; focus on increasing engineering productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, CSX Platform, DevOps, Support, XS).
Cooperate with Recruitment to attract and identify talent for senior technical positions.
Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with peers in the products organization. Demonstrate technical expertise through publications, presentations, white papers, and event participation.



Competencies and qualifications
Relevant academic degree and at least 15 years of relevant work experience
Deep technical expertise across multiple technology stacks, with a focus on cloud architectures, containerization, and other advanced technologies.
Demonstrated ability to continually explore technology advancements in relevant areas, contributing to product milestones by solving the most complex problems.
Proven ability to communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with peers in a products organization.
Leadership in driving the technical architecture and design process of a product, owning the technical design, development, and deployment.
Ability to work with product management, engineering, and architecture to anticipate future technology needs and proactively plan for outcomes.
Mastery in making key architectural decisions at an organizational level, balancing short-term impact and long-term architectural vision
