We are now looking for a Technical Education Developer to strengthen our Axis Communication’s Academy team in Lund.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis Communications’ Academy has a firm foundation and strong reputation in our market with a full range of training services within the IP surveillance industry. Academy offers an extensive training program to educate our partners on how to design and implement smart solutions with Axis’ products, technology and unique capabilities.

As Technical Education Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop high quality technical training material for all Academy formats – both online and classroom based.

We are looking for a flexible and driven team player who can work both independently and in a highly collaborative team. The ability to finalize projects successfully and according to set time plan is essential in this position.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Developing technical educational material with a clear business perspective, based on total design solutions which incorporate Axis’ products. Understanding the needs and requirements of our different target groups. Creating educational content by: Investigating and understanding both business and technical requirements Interviewing engineers and technical subject matter experts to gather information and transform it into training material. Delivering accurate and comprehensive training material according to development guidelines. Maintainance of existing training material. Continuously build excellent product and industry knowledge.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a background in engineering with a relevant master's degree. You also have experience from developing technical training material and the ability to explain technically complex features in a user-friendly way.

As an alternative, you have a technical background in network technology, technical writing or similar in combination with a strong personal interest in training and education. This background, together with the will and energy to learn how to develop training material adhering to Academy’s high quality standards and development process, may also be considered.

Your English is excellent, both written and spoken, as all course material is developed in English.

Experience from Network video/IP surveillance and topics such as networks, design considerations, camera technology and image usability is a great advantage.
