Job Description
Being an Azure DevOps technical engineer at H&M Group means working as one team and creating solutions that are simple yet powerful for the end-user. You will build and maintain technology platforms to enable software solutions to be deployed and run independently by the software engineers. Our smaller and cross-competent product teams offer great individual responsibilities where you’ll be accountable for the whole product lifecycle.
Regardless of area, tools or languages, a technical engineer builds and/or configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.
You will have the chance to build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering our Azure platform. This is a highly collaborative organization with an entrepreneurial mindset where there will be opportunities to try out your creative and innovative ideas.
As part of the Continuous Deployment team in the Azure platform, you will enable teams and applications to be built and deployed quickly, securely, and reliably. The team will be built up of members with competence and experience to enable easy and smart cicd solutions with a focus on IAM (Identity and Access Management) and related tools. Experience with SAFE and working as a Scrum Master for our agile teams is also required.
What you will do:
You will work alongside experienced developers in the agile team that delivers customer-centric integration solutions, with the responsibility for creating and designing solutions that fulfill our customers' needs. Your team will be highly autonomous and have the ownership of the products you develop. Some of your daily work includes:
Improving the delivery pipeline, from development to production for several systems
Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails
Perform technical analysis of requirements and impact analysis
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements, and existing systems into account
Collaborate closely with the product team and other cross-functional teams, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions
Cooperate with Infrastructure and Security architects
Knowledge transfer of solutions to the business tech teams
Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes
And above all; Have an indecisive impact on how we shape the future of fashion by building solutions that exceed our customers' expectations
Qualifications
As an Azure DevOps technical engineer at H&M Group, you will work with a broad and holistic view. In addition to this, we believe you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Deep knowledge of API, Microservices, Cloud Native Solution.
Proven experience working with automation and scripting
Demonstrated history of working according to agile practices with knowledge of working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), versioning tool (GIT)
Experienced in cloud solution like Azure- Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Azure Service Bus and Blob Storage, Azure Logic App, Azure Function App
Experience with SAFE and working as a Scrum Master for our agile teams
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as understanding and translating business requirements
"You build it you run it" mindset – with hands-on experience of DevOps or equivalent for source code control (preferable Azure)
Experience in IAM (Identity and Access Management) and related tools
