About the area
The Hosting team is part of the Cloud and Datacenter area and handles the generic Server, Storage, Tools and Database environment on-prem in the Stockholm, US and Hong Kong datacenters.
About the team
We are a small infrastructure team of four people who work closely together with our partners, vendors, and stakeholders within H&M. As the cloud journey continues, we see the need to secure and rightsizing the on-prem delivery as well as modernizing our solutions and platforms. We have exciting years ahead of us where we are moving towards hybrid solutions and setting the next generation datacenter structure. Now is the time to strengthen the team with one more employee.

Job Description


Main work responsibilities will include the following:
· Manage and drive Jira activities
· Participate in PI planning activities
· Participate in new and existing initiatives
· Work on tasks that spans across all areas within the Hosting team such as Server, Storage, Database and Tools.
· Support with identifying new requirements based on business and security needs and opportunities by assessing feasibility and necessities
· Collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders, helpdesk and change/incident/problem management
· Identify issues and challenges and highlight those to the team
· Working with both hardware and software vendors
Contribute to the team by taking own initiatives and drive current initiatives


Qualifications


Who are you?
As a Technical Engineer at H&M Group we believe you are a true team player who has several years of experience of global IT and complex network environments with basic understanding of Agile methodology. You can take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments You will be a key player and we believe you are adaptable, collaborative, open-minded and able to work in a flexible environment with a non-prestigious approach.
Your mindset and general skills:
We need a person with a strong technical interest and with the ambition to develop their skills further in this area. A team player willing to share knowledge across the group. Your skills include:
• Ability to handle many complex and parallel tasks simultaneously
• Ability to understand new requirements and their impact on current services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills evident in presentations, correspondence, dealing with customers, active listening, meeting participation and negotiation
• Fluent in English (Teams language), Swedish preferred
Technical competences:
Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:
• At least 3-5 years’ experience of working with IT services within infrastructure
· Clear communications skills both written and vocal – English
· Understanding of complex IT infrastructure and experience of working with enterprise class server and storage solutions
· Very good knowledge of Server technology including hypervisors
· Very good knowledge of Storage and Backup solutions
· Architectural and technical focus when evaluating new solutions
· Awareness of market trends, ability to predict future possibilities and challenges
· Experience with Agile ways of working (SAFe, JIRA etc.)
· Experience of Risk, Change, Incident and Problem management
· Good understanding of data privacy foundations like GDPR, SHREMS etc.
