About the area
Site Core Technology is responsible to ensure a fit-for-purpose Edge Site core technology infrastructure is being delivered all times. This is to improve business processes, reduce latency and improve efficiency at edge locations by driving a modern edge compute strategy & edge device architecture. We are one central point responsible for all devices and infrastructure questions on sites, ensuring security standards are met, cross-site synergies are performed, and hardware is kept up to date.
About the team
The Site Coordination team is based in Stockholm and Hong Kong. We help to coordinate the deliveries and implementation of the standard solutions, developed by different product teams of the organization. The team works close together with suppliers, Country IT, and Architects in other areas. We make sure the process of the installation of the network connections, LAN and WIFI goes smooth. We also help to review and update documentation, processes, and task flows.

Qualifications


Who are you?
As a Technical Engineer at H&M Group we believe you are a true team player who has several years of experience of global IT and complex network environments with basic understanding of Agile methodology. You can take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments You will be a key player and we believe you are adaptable, collaborative, open-minded and able to work in a flexible environment with a non-prestigious approach.
Your responsibilities
Make sure IT infrastructure is delivered to all H&M locations by remotely assessing, Hardware procuring and coordinating different tasks for sites to be up and running according to the H&M standard.
Proactively work on continuous improvements of processes and routines.
Work closely together with your team, suppliers and IT staff distributed worldwide.
Administration and coordination on hardware and licenses procurement and services subscription.
Close communications with global suppliers to ensure the delivery is in good quality
Actively work with constant improvements of processes, tools and routines. Make sure all the documents are up to date.
Be on top of your tasks until the service is delivered and tested.

Ability to handle many complex and parallel tasks simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills evident in presentations, correspondence, dealing with customers, active listening, meeting participation and negotiation
Fluent in English (Teams language) and Swedish
Flexible and adaptable, willing to learn new skills and knowledge, willing to attempt new tasks, makes a positive effort to accept changes
Proactive and Critical problem solving, be able to identify and define problems, analyze problems to find the root causes, find possible solutions, consider the possible outcomes of each solution
Strong team player. Work effectively in a team, contribute to team objectives, communicate effectively with team members, respect, listen to and encourage team members, pitch in
Scheduling and Time Management
Experience from working in a multicultural environment

Functional skills:
3-5 years’ experience of working with IT services within infrastructure
Technical experience within one or more infrastructure areas such as network, hosting, IT facility or end user services
Basic understanding of Network terms and functions
Experience of working in an IT environment of a global company
Used to work with external service suppliers
Experience of ITIL and ITSM
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ways of working
