JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Communications team is responsible for strategic elements of branding and marketing, ensuring consistency in marketing communications throughout the organization. We produce marketing materials such as collateral, illustrations, advertisements, newsletters, web banners, booth panels and videos, and are responsible for tradeshows and conferences.

We are looking for a technical person with project coordination experience. As technical events coordinator, you will be responsible for the technical execution at tradeshows and you will handle set-up of cameras, computers, screens, demo stations, graphics, running of technical aspects and tear-down on site at tradeshows. During tradeshows you will represent Axis and demo our products to partners and customers. You see the big picture and ensure visuals and technical set-up go hand-in-hand.

The role will include work such as:

Ensure products, solutions and accessories offered by Axis are displayed and demonstrated in the best possible way. Preparation for tradeshows, such as packing, planning of logistics, configuration of camera and updates of computers, etc. Support the team working maintenance of conference area in Lund. Coordinate with our local subsidiaries for technical set-up of the booth and equipment planning. Provide product support and help to Axis partners with own stands and/or attending tradeshows where Axis is not directly present. Be responsible for the pool of Axis products, computers and network equipment during non-tradeshow periods including unpacking after tradeshows. Create proposals for how to demonstrate new products and solutions, be the creative technical “thinker”.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a technical, well-organized and service-minded individual with experience in project coordination and a keen interest in becoming the expert at how to best demonstrate Axis products. We believe that you have a problem-solving ability and are able to handle multiple activities simultaneously and plan your tasks based on different deadlines. You have great interpersonal skills and you are good team player.

Extensive practical experience within managing LAN networks, for both hardware and software aspects. Knowledge about configuration, set-up and optimization of network products, such as switches and routers, including experience from Layer 2/3 management Extensive experience of networking in a Windows environment, including knowledge in MS Windows operating systems. Experience of networking protocol suite such as TCP/IP. Ability to create and document work-flows, administrative processes, checklists, etc., to ensure that we keep track of all technical equipment used at tradeshows. You are expected to be a practical person and manage things from mounting cameras to actually building booths from scratch. Presentation skills and ability to present technical products and solutions for both branch experts and people not familiar with network camera technology in a professional way. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
The position involves travelling to various regional events to support mounting and dismantling of tradeshow equipment, which requires some physical work. You are, from time to time, expected to be able work outside of normal office hours and weekends.

Corporate Marketing is responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning, in accordance with the company’s overall goals and business strategy. Marketing Communications is part of the Corporate Marketing department, where the team also cooperates with academy, partner marketing, segment- and product marketing. Marketing communications supports all subsidiaries with graphic and digital related designs.
