In order to develop our expertise and sustain innovation, Alstom deploys a process of World Class Engineering (WCE) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) across the Group. This process enables to identify and develop experts according to different levels as well as monitor our expertise mapping; this helps ensure that we meet our ambition in terms of operational excellence for Research & Development, Tender & Project activities as well as innovation.
We are looking for a person able to facilitate and drive the WCE and WCM process in our Nordics cluster.
YOUR MISSION
As an Expert Coordinator, you will be in interface with the Global organization and the local teams to help create a strong expert pipeline and population of experts.
This position will give you a great opportunity to discover our products, interface with many different people across the organization as well as work in a very dynamic and fast growing cluster.
As part of your scope you will have to perform following tasks:
Drive and deploy the WCE and WCM process for the cluster
Be the single point of contact for leaders in the cluster
Network with the Product Line WCE/WCM contact points centrally, the cluster Engineering leads, the HR team…
Create the expert network community in the cluster
Develop the expert community in the cluster, facilitating some events, training sessions, knowledge sharing…
Run the annual process for experts in the cluster (communicate the process, set up the panel, follow up the communication process including letters to nominated experts, help build the development plans, liaise with Total Rewards and HR to record in the HR information system…)
Run a celebration event for the cluster each year
Promote the process and network across the cluster
Work with Engineering and Industrial leaders to develop a pipeline for all Experts, Senior Experts and Master Experts
Produce data and KPI’s around experts for the cluster as needed linked to the Cluster dashboard
Set up and maintain the local expert database
In addition to the role of Experts Coordinator, you will also be the point of contact for technical training for our Rolling Stock & Components product line across the Nordics.
YOUR PROFILE
You are graduated from an Engineering school and would like to gain some experience in developing other people. You have a good understanding of technical topics and have some experience in working in a complex environment. You are recognized for your communication and facilitation skills. You are able to deal with different priorities and have already proven your capacity to manage a project. You are fluent in English, Swedish or any Nordic language would be a plus.
