The Intelligent Platform Department at CEVT is responsible for a broad range spectrum and has crucial effects on the architecture development of CEVT's technology. Our team Safety & Comfort within Vehicle Electronics & Software, has key competencies in two safety-relevant areas; Comfort Electronics, and Passive Safety. Our vision is to build sufficient systems that can be adjusted to all OEMs.

As a Technical Function Developer, you will own function/functions which means the responsibility to:

- Develop functional and technically feasible concepts for meeting project pre-requisites.

- Create functional specifications and requirements to develop a system that can provide the best realizable functionality, quality and meet all the regulatory requirements.

- Conduct detailed design reviews with stakeholders.

- Refine the functional description requirements or function realization requirements and allocated them to subsystem.

- Deliver/maintain functional requirement plan, report deviations from plan, initiate and follow up corrective action.

- Conduct quality assurance reviews like FMEA and Risk Assessments.

- Manage system/component suppliers to ensure components with required features and functions deliver per specification and project timing.

- Resolve project and factory fault reports by identifying root causes and corrective actions required.

- Assist with development and designs for the improvement of components, systems, cost or assembly/manufacturing methods.

- Create/conduct a function verification plan to ensure function delivery per specification.

Is it you?
We understand that you are highly attractive to many prospective employers because of your in-depth knowledge and strong technical skills, well-recognized experience, and above all, personality. In addition, you are someone who loves challenges in finding efficient solutions and has the following qualifications:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in system and/or function development, preferably with previous experience working with passive safety.

- You have documented experience from VCC ELEKTRA/ System Weaver as well as Team Center Automotive.

- You've gained proficiency in being able to manage tasks independently and driving issues with a lot of energy.

- You have cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture. Experienced in working with Chinese teams is highly appreciated. Travels to China and other countries are required for this role.

- You are fluent in English both in writing and in speech.
