Technical (Functional) Lead | SAP Sales & Distribution / VMS

We are currently looking for a Technical/Functional Lead for our Sales & Distribution SAP S4 area, to join our team within the Order Management domain.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

When purchasing a car, our customers are taken through a journey that starts at Polestar.com and provides them with a digital experience all the way through receiving their new Polestar. At the back end of this journey, we have order management solutions that are crucial for the company and to the customer experience - a joint heart of the Polestar commerce solutions. We are currently designing and implementing an SAP S4/HANA instance where the Sales & Distribution modules and Vehicle Management System (VMS) will be a foundational layer of Polestar’s order management solutions. We are therefore looking to add a Technical Lead to the Order Management domain to help lead execution and implementation of the SAP solutions.

In general, the Technical Lead is responsible for the execution of deliverables and roadmap for a digital solution. The Tech Lead is also translating business objectives set by Digital Lead and Digital Product Manager (DPM) into technical deliverables and features, as such, the TL is an executor and the force behind the technical solution.

What you will do

- Responsible for daily execution and planning within the digital team, which includes coordinating and delegating the team's responsibilities and working proactively with removing obstacles to team deliverables 

- Setting the Digital Product's functional direction with the business vision and objectives in collaboration with the Solution Architect and aligning this with the Digital Lead 

- Work on functional/technical implementations of the new digital solutions (based on SAP S/4 Sales & Distribution modules and VMS) where you shall gather the business requirement, configure, test and deploy the landscape in close collaboration with our suppliers

- Support monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP environment within your area of expertise

- Supporting installation and upgrade of SAP S4HANA systems hosted in the Cloud (mainly on AWS)

About you

To thrive in this position, you should:

- Have professional experience within functional implementation of SAP Systems (preferably in S4 Sales & Distribution modules and VMS)

- Extensive experience in supporting SAP system projects in various phases from requirements gathering to architecture design

- Have solid experience and understanding of cloud technologies

- Demonstrated experience leading agile technical teams in large-scale system implementations

- Ability to quickly see the holistic picture and work proactively
