Description

The client are now looking for Technical illustrator in their Industrial Door Solutions business area. The business area focuses on the efficient flow for vehicles and goods accessibility to buildings. With a complete portfolio of industrial door and docking solutions under the brand and an extensive service and maintenance offer.

In this job position you create and maintain illustrations for use in instruction manuals. Solidworks Composer will be one of your primary tools. You make use of existing R&D models and elements in Solidworks and AutoCAD/Inventor formats.

You will work with different stakeholders: primarily with Technical support, a team of technical experts who support the 1.000 service technicians in the field. Technical support will provide the requirements and first drafts of an instructions.

You will be based in the Product documentation team. That team consists of technical editors and illustrators.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- Mid-level/junior level degree in engineering or technical illustrator.
- Experience with Solidworks Composer is a must.
- Experience with Autodesk software is an advantage.
- Skills to quickly turn an abstract idea into a clear illustration.
