Axis is now looking for an experienced Technical Launch Manager in our Product Introduction Management team focusing on the new video products/ pan-tilt-zoom cameras.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As technical launch manager you will work closely with product managers, product introduction managers, product specialists and product marketing to create and facilitate an efficient and consistent technical communication around our products. We believe you have excellent communication and presentation skills and a deep technical understanding of IP networks and video/photography.

Your work can be divided into two general areas:

* Create training materials, run product training sessions and participate in the launch activities of major product launches
* Drive the creation of technical documentation related to new products, new features and new technologies

The role involves limited travelling, up to 15 days per year.

WHOAREWE LOOKING FOR?
We believe the perfect candidate has:

* A fine-tuned social ability and a strong preference for team-work
* The ability to take initiative and drive activities to completion
* A passion for technology in all its forms
* A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
* Experience from creating training material and presenting to larger groups
* An ability to communicate efficiently in writing, e.g. through white-papers, newsletters, etc
* At least five years of experience from the IT, surveillance or security industries
* A good understanding of product lifecycle management
* Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
* Swedish language skills; not essential, but a distinct advantage.

THE PRODUCT INTRODUCTION MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Product Introduction Management team is responsible for the internal communication around new products and the principal recipient is the sales organization which currently consists of 650 people spread around the world. As Axis launches up to 50 products per year the information flow is crucial for efficient sales and customer support execution.
