What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a Technical Lead to the External Collaboration team within the ART Insights and Product Development Support (a part of R&D Digital). You will provide capabilities for our stakeholders to exchange data in a secure and efficient way!
The External Collaboration team is a key enabler of the data exchange at Volvo Cars together with our partners and suppliers. The vision is to enable transparency, collaborative decision-making, and problem-solving across the company.
As the team name states, this team is about collaboration! The team interacts and integrates with products and product data from our partners within Geely Group, such as Geely, Polestar, Lync & Co etc. as well as with other suppliers. The data of interest to exchange is mainly around documentation of the car such as parts, CAD drawings and models, electrical schemas and software.
We have an agile team existing of a product owner, scrum master, business analysts and developers; a total of 14 people - all with solid skills and competencies waiting for a Technical Lead to join the team! The team takes pride in its high competence and business knowledge accompanied by a great team spirit and compassion.
You will be working with a group of skilled developers, currently engaged in agile product development enabling data exchange from different sources, between different partners and suppliers. This will make the data available for other applications to consume.
You will have great opportunities to affect the direction of your own role as well as the team as a whole. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you’ll do
You will work in a cross-functional team and together with the team be responsible for the technical solutions in the specific applications. You will participate and contribute to the DevOps practices. You will work in the complete development process, from creating requirements to deploying code to production and you will also be part of the Developer Community of practice. You will build high quality products and services that will deliver value to our customers. The team members are T-shaped to be able to handle all tasks.

- .Net Core
- React JS , Typescript
- SQL Server, Azure SQL
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Azure Cloud Services: Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Functions, IaaS, IaC
- Experience in Snowflake and Apache Kafka
We work with the agile development method SAFe, so an understanding or certification is meritorious. You are fluent in English; both written and spoken.
