What’s in it for you?
In the ART called IPDS, Insights and Product Development at R&D Digital, we are working with the product Data Visualization, a part of the Data Driven Transparency program, DDT, within Volvo Cars. This product enables Volvo Cars to become a data driven enterprise by providing and visualizing quality assured data for different use cases.
We are looking for a technical lead that will guide the development work and be responsible for the technical roadmap within the team. Of course, in close collaboration with the product owner, the scrum master, other developers, and the solution architects within the cluster. You have most likely experience of being a data engineer and maybe worked in a similar role before.
The Data Visualization team is a key enabler to provide insights to our company on how we are doing in all our car development projects. The vision is to enable transparency, collaborative decision-making, and problem-solving across the company.
You will work in an agile team existing of other data engineers, BI engineers, a product owner, a scrum master, and a business analyst; a total of 9 people - all with great skills and competencies waiting for a technical lead to join the team! The team takes pride in its high competence and business knowledge accompanied by a great team spirit and compassion.  
You will have great opportunities to affect the direction of your own role as well as the team as a whole. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you’ll do
You will work in a cross-functional T-shaped team and together with the team be responsible for the technical solutions in the specific applications. You will participate and contribute to the DevOps practices in the complete development process; from creating requirements to deploying code to production and together with the team, create high quality products and services that will deliver value to our customers.
What you’ll bring
We think you are excited about data management and creating data products. You are skilled in data modelling as well as designing, creating, developing, and maintaining digital capabilities needed to provide users throughout Volvo Cars with data and tools to create value and insights. You are also experienced within data visualizations using Power BI.
