The Product Team – Digital Product Data Carriers
Digital Product Data Carriers is a newly established team with the mission to introduce modern technology in/on all our products to enable data transparency, process efficiency, inventory accuracy and item level traceability across the supply chain for H&M Group. We develop, rollout and maintain data carriers such as RFID, 2D Datamatrix and RF as well as future carrier technology.
Our Digital Product Data Carriers are the link between our consumer applications and our products and are therefore a key enabler for many operational and strategic use cases. Data Carrier Technology is rapidly evolving and generates detailed insights into our supply chain, sustainability and customer journey. Job Description
As a Technical Lead in a newly formed product team you will have a broad range of responsibility but also the opportunity to help build entirely new solutions and make an impact on what digital product data carriers look like now and in the future. You will lead the tech agenda to maintain our current data carriers (RFID, 2D Datamatrix), develop new carrier technology (QR, NFC) and design tools and system architecture that will help us manage and integrate data carrier technology within our enterprise architecture.


You will work alongside a Product Owner, Business Expert and other Software Engineers in an agile team, with the responsibility for creating and designing solutions that delight our end users and customers.
Examples of responsibilities that comes with the role:
Translate product strategy and objectives into world-class maintainable and scalable solutions
Build high-performing and secure solution architecture according to the customer needs
Solve complex problems with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation​
Absorb and apply the latest trends and technologies within software design, architecture and engineering​
Collaborate effectively with Engineers in other Products
Support the Product Owner with developing the tech ambition for the team





Qualifications
Your mindset & skills
To make an impact in this role, we believe you have the following:
5+ years experience with a strong mindset of building a scalable and high-quality software product. Designing and implementing a large-scale distributed system in a larger organizational tech landscape
You are truly a “doer”, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to make the team move forward
Ability to understand and analyze complex information and share it in effective and powerful communications
Ability to translate a product vision into concrete tech strategies and solutions
Previous experience of GS1 standards, EPCIS, and/or supply chain scenarios supported by RFID technology is a plus
Experience and working knowledge of Microservices architecture an in a multicloud environment beneficial
Great communication skills, both written and oral, in English
Experience from working according to agile principles
