Technical Management General Engineering

Your role

We are now recruiting to an exciting position in Aeronautics, and have the opportunity to offer a position to lead our work in Technical Management in the department General Engineering.

The function will have the opportunity to develop our ways of working, and ensure the requirement from design organizations are met.

Responsibilities include:

* Develop ways of working and roles in General Engineering
* Lead work with all of Aeronautics design organizations
* Develop how we work with production organization in regard to deviations
* Set up interface and how results are integrated to product development
* Identify requirements that need to be considerd and taken into account during qualifications Support line managers and co-workers in technical questions

You will have the opportunity to develop a role and a function and network over the whole of Aeronautics.

You will be a part of General Engineering operational management team, comprising of line managers, process management and project management. Together we support and enable the development and delivery of our Business Units.

Your profile

You have experience from work in design organizations with a broad and general knowledge. You understand the responsibilities and requirements needed to produce documention to certification, and always keeping time and cost in mind.

You have excellent communication skills and a natural networker, being able to explain the complex in a simple way.

Experience from the roles Material Group Manager or Technical Leader is a merit.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The Aeronautics business area is an innovative supplier of world-class aircraft systems, advanced aerostructures, and a wide range of support solutions within civil and military aviation. The business area researches, develops, and produces military aviation systems. We are building for the future through research and studies into innovative flight systems and the further development of our products.

You will be a part of the function General Engineering, a part of Business Support. We support Aeronautics with technological solutions and support. From R&T, Design, Production to aftermarket. General Engineering is today approximately 40 co-workers, divided into two operational areas: Component & Design Engineering and Material & Process Engineering. You will be organized directly under the Head of General Engineering.
