We are looking for a new colleague to join as a Technical Manager in our factory in Falkenberg.
In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 340 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
This role is a permanent position without probation period. The Technical Manager provides leadership and direction in the technical function of the Unit and support with resources, skills and methods to reach the unit’s targets in the area of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and Technical ability.
In the position as Technical Manager in Falkenberg you will lead a team of experienced Manager, Engineers and Technicians. You will provide strategic directions for the maintenance functions at the site and own the Site Maintenance Master Plan. Support management of technical stops, corrective maintenance, and the elimination of breakdown times by applying DDS and problem solving tools. Coordinates the Unit to maintain spares stocks and maintenance budget within the targets. Plans savings via strong focus on planned maintenance and implementation of time based maintenance tools and condition monitoring. Perform benchmarks between Lines, teams and other factories. Train and transfer the knowledge to the Technical Team in Maintenance Program, and identifies competences need for the Unit Participates in DOM’s WOM’s.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for developing the department annual budgets, Site maintenance budget and supervising/controlling budget performance. You will also develop and lead the Site Maintenance Strategies in alignment with Essity best practices and processes.

We also see that you have:
University degree or equal experience from working in production/maintenance
Minimum 5 years working experience within a similar role
Proven knowledge and experience of applying of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies
Experience working in SAP
Leadership experience
Fluent in English and Swedish– both oral and written
