Play a key role in developing our CMS business globally
If you have solid technical experience from digitalization projects, handling of Big Data and are keen on taking on an exciting and broad technical challenge in a growing, dynamic and high-tech environment we probably have the ideal opportunity for you! Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, (HVC), for land and offshore applications worldwide. Growing our Cable Monitoring Solutions (CMS) department we add value to our customers by helping them utilize their assets in best possible way.
Establish, drive and develop the technical scope
We are growing on of our newest business areas – Cable Monitoring Solutions - and are looking for a Technical Manager to join our organisation. Within this area we add value to our customers by supporting them in their efforts to use their cables in the most effective way, to minimize risks and failures and to maximize the throughput and lifetime.
This is done by applying innovative sensors on the cable and in the control systems at our customers. The data is then analysed through our algorithms to provide actionable conclusions to our customers. This is a key step in NKT supporting our customers in their digitalization journey.
In the role as Technical Manager you will have the overall responsibility for all technical activities within CMS. Including interfaces to external suppliers as well as to internal functions such as Solutions, Engineering and R&D.
You will develop and execute the technical road map for CMS as well as play an active role of developing marketing and product strategies and planning as well as in establishing the overall CMS eco-system. We will have a high focus on profitability and market growth the following years.
Besides the above your primary tasks will be:
* Project management of technical development projects, internal and external
* Responsible for establishing technical presentation material and hold trainings internally and externally.
* Act as technical sales support
* Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, internally and externally
You will be a part of a business-oriented team with flexible placement but preferably Karlskrona, Alingsås, Västerås, Copenhagen or Cologne. Frequent travelling is included in the role.

Establishing and developing strong relations to relevant stakeholders is another key to succeed in this role.
You have several years of experience from digitalization’s projects preferably within the industry – TSO, Utilities etc. You are probably a technical generalist who can contribute with expertise both from system integration and application knowledge as well as from e.g. sensor techniques and integration of Big Data.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
* University degree within Engineering or equivalent
* Fluency in spoken and written English
