Technical Manager Civil Structures

We are looking for a Technical Manager Civil Structures for our Göteborg Office ASAP
Role description
The Technical Manager Civil Structure has the general task to perform the technical management of the design and execution of the civil structures included in the project E04 Haga. With the civil structures works like retaining structures, permanent structures, geotechnical and hydrogeological work is intended. In particular, the role handles the coordination of designers and technical consultants for civil structures, giving engineering support to the construction activities in the preliminary stage and during works execution by the Contract Requirements and Engineering procedures and implementation of agreed strategies for achieving set goals in the project. The role reports to Technical Office Manager and Technical Director.
Specific responsibilities:
· Design management civil structures, in particular about Skattehuset underpass
· Design coordination of sub-consultants performing design of civil structures of E04 Haga station
· Management of design and coordination schedules, following internal and external design deliveries
· Performing and coordinating internal technical reviews of design together with the involvement of mainly Production department
· Handling and updating of risk registers about civil structures
· Acting as an interface to Client in terms of civil structures design and technical solutions
· Acting as an interface to other departments in AGN about civil structures
· Evaluation of performed work (progress) by designers/sub consultants in connection to payments
· Involvement in contractual management of designers/sub consultants contracts including handling of Variation Orders, Requests of Changes and Non-Conformity Reports
· Management and participation in internal and external technical meetings
· Handling of administrative tasks like preparation of Minutes of Meetings, Protocols, Activity logs, etc.
· Draws up for his/her competence the Monthly reports for internal and external
Mandatory Qualifications:
· Degree in Civil Engineering or similar;
· Deep knowledge of civil structures with specialization in Geotechnics and/or Structural design;
· Min. 10 years of work experience in the infrastructural field (complex projects – underground railway/metro/road) from design, production phase;
· Fluent English knowledge, both written and spoken;
· Excellence in commonly used office software;
· Presence on-site in Göteborg (100%);
· Experienced in BIM projects;
· Excellent relational and communication skills;
· Personal traits: Result-oriented, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, prone to teamwork, flexible and curious, open-minded, humble approach.
Bonus attributes:
· Knowledge of Swedish, written and spoken
· Knowledge of AutoDesk Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project, Navisworks
· Experience in Swedish/Scandinavian infrastructure projects, in particular with Trafikverket
