The section has the responsibility for delivering and maintaining applications to enable the use of Java in EMP's application suites as well as to provide a broad set of Utility JSR's.Position Description As Technical Manager you will be responsible for: . Operational development and strategies . Recruiting . Resource planning . Competence Development . Salary reviews . Individual Performance Management talks You will be located in Lund.You report to the Manager of the Java Department.Background and Personal Qualities The preferable applicant will have M Sc in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.You have at least five years experience working as an engineer and two years as a manager.You have leadership experience from Software Development activities in large projects or organizations and you know how to manage people to achieve the best results.You fully understand the principles of software engineering and have very good knowledge of the software development process.You have experience from the Java community and understand what is required to achieve results.As a person you have strong networking skills and a winning and emphatic personality.You have excellent communication skills and transform complex insight into easily understood information.You are fluent in spoken and written English.Languages such as French, German and/or Korean would be an asset.How to apply You apply by clicking the link below which takes you to a registration form where you fill in contact details and attach CV and letter of intent, written in Swedish or English.We need your application at the latest Sunday 18 May.
