Technical Manager - Injection Moulding

One of the main activities in D&E Carton Bottle apart from looking after the Tetra Top business is to develop a new Asptic Carton Bottle platform to take on the threat from Aseptic PET.In order to do so Time To Market (TTM) and increased robustness of our solutions is vital.To achieve this we have embarked on a very exciting journey to change our ways of working extensively.We have accomplished a lot but there is still a lot to do.

We work extensively with new Systems Engineering practices to ensure full system integration and fulfillment of requirements.We have begun to explore virtual engineering and plan to do much more in this field as well as other engineering excellence elements.

We are looking for a technical manager responsible for the development of technical solutions for injection moulding, internal cap handling, supply systems and covers & platforms for both the Tetra Pak A6 and Tetra Pak TT/3 machines.Your task will be to lead a team of engaged people in the Injection Moulding sub system to secure equipment competitiveness.

As Technical Manager you will have personnel and budget responsibility as well as technical specification ownership for the sub system.Together with your manager you will drive the long term strategy of the department.Even if it is a managerial position it will have a clear focus on working with the technology, product development and product maintenance.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

- Provide, and follow up objectives for the department
- Technical specification ownership within assigned area
- Decide on technical solutions that fulfil requirements and full system integration.
- Continuously develop the capabilities of our engineers in designing, verifying, validating and supporting technical solutions
- Develop our technical capabilities within technical areas and improve our abilities in creating new solutions.
- Plan and drive assigned activities (PLC/PD/TD), according to prevailing processes, in order to reach the objectives related to time, cost and scope
- Quality assurance of delivered products
- Secure that all required technical documents are according to the relevant processes



Kvalifikationer

We are looking for an individual, preferable with leadership experience and experience from machine development.We believe that you are a good listener with the ability to motivate and coach your team.You are an analytical person who is able to make decisions and strives for results.

To be successful you will need at least 5 years expercience of machine development and prefereble a background as a Mechanical Engineer and /or Development Engineer.If you have experience of Project Management and knowledge of project planning tools this will be highly valuble.'
