We are looking for a technical manager to lead Kedali Sweden's technical team.
Kedali is a top Chinese manufacturer and operates within different segments of the battery industry and as the strategic partner of Northvolt here in Skellefteå.
The technical manager oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of systems and processes, including troubleshooting and potential issues. The technical manager is also responsible for managing the teams within the technical department and making decisions that relate to continuous improvement within all areas of technical development.
Main tasks include but are not limited to:
The technical manager has regulatory, operational, and commercial responsibility for the department.
Maintain, drive, supervise, and implement robust technical standards, systems, and processes.
Develop and implement training plans and programs.
Manage a team with a diverse array of talents, responsibilities, and technical expertise. All team members find their position and have clear career goals and direction.
Coordinate the regular testing of products to address faults and provide evaluations for continuous improvement.
Categorize/recognize/organize and solve abnormal problems in production and assist in the implementation of various quality plans.
Responsible for organizing the preparation of process flow charts, PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions and other guiding documents and updating them.
Responsible for the technical management, technical analysis, process technology improvement and continuous improvement of the process production process, optimize process parameters, improve product quality and production efficiency.
Responsible for process technology development and introduction of new products
Comprehensive equipment planning, preparation and submission of facility equipment expenditure requests.
Organize daily comprehensive preventive maintenance of equipment.
Organize improvement and improve the OEE of good equipment.
Responsible for the management of spare parts inventory of wearing parts.
Coordinating personnel to solve equipment-related quality and production problems.
Continuously improve the process, improve equipment efficiency, reduce defects, optimize cost and delivery.
Other tasks assigned by the general manager.
Competence and experience:
Minimum bachelor’s degree with a mechanical engineering background
Minimum 8 years relevant work experience
Excellent mechanical technology background, tooling development experience is a merit.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Good cost saving awareness.
