Technical Market Developer, Synthetic Lubricants & Engineered fluids

This position has emerged at an exciting time, presenting the successful candidate an opportunity to play a key role in our ambitious plans for further growth within synthetic lubricants and engineered fluids. We are currently looking for someone to join a multidisciplinary team engaged in developing and introducing next generation of products for the synthetic esters market. This position is part of the global Innovation organization, and an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative and creative environment

In this role you will evaluate new ideas, and lead technical development projects. It is important to keep up with state-of-the art technology in different application areas and identify future trends of interest within the polyol ester area to drive innovations and develop new opportunities. Collaboration is key and you will work close with several internal partners and stakeholders. Your tasks also involve work with external partners and customers to solve challenges and find solutions.

Your main tasks:

- Apply technical knowledge to develop new products meeting customer needs
- Lead technical development projects for new products and innovations, and coordinate activities
- Support customers with your technical knowledge around our products
- Provide content and help with technical presentations and marketing material

Education and experiences required:

- Chemistry, chemical engineering, preferably Master level, PhD or equivalent experience
- Experience of development work in synthetic lubricants and formulation of the same.
- Knowledge of lubricants industry and experience in ester based lubricants and grease
- Minimum >5 years of working in an industrial environment, preferable >10 years
- English, both written and spoken


Other information

This position will be based in Sweden with frequent presence in Perstorp where our R&D center is located. Some international travelling is required.
