The Heating Systems Business unit within Sandvik Wire and Heating Technology leads the world in high temperature heating technology products, used primarily for generating, measuring, controlling, and protecting against heat in industrial furnaces, home appliances, and other applications where heat is involved.

Based on superior metallic and ceramic resistance heating materials, Sandvik offers a wide range of heating elements, components, modules, and systems for everything from robust and simple heating elements for heavy forging applications, to complex furnace systems for manufacturing semiconductors and photovoltaic cells.

Sandvik is the engineering partner to furnace builders, and solution provider to end-users of thermal processing equipment.

We are now looking for a Technical Marketing Specialist to support the external sales team.

Key performance areas
As Technical Marketing Specialist you will engage with customers and end users, and support field sales through technical marketing of existing products to current customers and identifying new customer and application areas for future product solutions.

Furthermore you will:
- Ensure personal and team safety and promote a 'Safety First' culture
- Achieve EMEA North targets for invoicing and new sales
- Create and maintain relationships with customers in the Nordic markets
- Support the external sales team with sales analysis and prospecting
- Support the Regional Sales Manager in the delivery of key projects and initiatives
- Support external sales with design, calculation, and offering to customers
- Support new product introduction to customers
- Support customers / end users in product selection

This position involves approximately six weeks of travel per year to our production units and customers in Europe.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a technical, electrical or engineering degree, or who has three to five years? experience within a technical field, working back office or with inside sales. You have good computer skills, preferably with knowledge of CAD. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken are prerequisite, and Finnish is advantageous.

As a person you are outgoing and confident, and have an ambitious mindset: striving for improvement and efficiency. You are both communicative and service-minded, building relationships with team-members and customers.
